Aspiring PR Specialist

Recently I have decided to promote myself with the hopes of getting an internship while I finish my degree.  Currently I am working on a web page and I also have a FaceBook page titled, Aspiring PR Specialist.  I am getting close to graduation (about 1.5 years) and I am getting excited to jump start my career.  If anyone knows any businesses looking for an intern in communications and/or PR please refer them to me. Also, if any of you out there have any advice to give me, I am all ears. A Ramble on Guns and Mental Health

Recently I have seen more and more posts on social media websites about gun control, the lack there of, or there being too much. The recent shooting at an elementary school in Pennsylvania is an awful tragedy that has happened and many people believe that these kinds of incidents would not happen if guns were not allowed to be in the hands of citizens. I do not know exactly where I stand on the gun issue, but I do know that anyone who is inclined to murder a multitude of people has a mental issue, and I think that society needs to address these issues when related to guns and the well-being of all citizens.

Why I like my Friends...and Other Stuff

This fourth of July I spent with some great friends. Why are they so great you ask? This mix of people is politically and religious just that; a mix. It is actually amazing that we can all hang out and have such different opinions on things. Gun laws, God, etc. Some of us agree on some things and others on other things, but there is always someone with the opposition. Perhaps that is why it is so fun. Ok, anyway, back to my point...
